Audio Amplifier Circuit Using IC TDA2003

In this article, I will show you how to design a audio amplifier using IC TDA2003. This Audio amplifier is actually a mono amplifier.
Here, this will need some basic components. See the figure below,

Components:

  1.  IC TDA2003/2002;
  2. R1= 150k ohms;
  3. R2= 2x3 pins Variable resistor 100k ohms;
  4. R3= 120 ohms;
  5. C1= 103J (0.01uF) Ceramic capacitor;
  6. C2= 3300uF, 25V, Electrolyte Capacitor;
  7. C3= 470uF, 25V, Electrolyte Capacitor;
  8. Speaker= 8ohms, 3W speaker;
  9. 9V or 12V DC source;
  10. Mono Audio Pin.
For better performance, Set your Amplifier in a wooden or Plastic Box. Set a plastic knob at the Variable resistor ground to skip the noise when you touch it.
NB: The audio IC will produce heat when it will run. So set it with Proper Heat sink.
